Janine & Rachel are superb hosts! The house was outstanding, so gorgeous with the most amazing views of the ocean, making it a peaceful haven, with a private beach on the same road! The welcome was great, we were shown everything necessary & were helped with things along the way with great responsiveness. There was an amazing booklet with lots of recommendations of the area - I stayed in many Airbnb's during my trip to SA last month & this was by far the best hosting I've seen! Beta Beach Villa far exceeded my already high expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. One word: breathtaking views and a Uber stylish home. It made my winter vacation seem like summer in a tropical island. The hosts were amazing, with welcome touches that made our stay pleasurable. The proximity to the sea was great for long walks and it’s centrality made it easy to navigate around. The other thing I have to stress is how safe the home is. It is equipped with state of the art security that ensures that you always feel protected. If this how Camps Bay Vacations homes are like I’m interested in exploring their other homes.

Beta Beach villa was amazing! It was so much fun to stay in this home. The views are beyond spectacular and it became a family ritual to walk out on the rocks in the ocean for sunset pictures each evening. There are so many modern features in this home and so many safety features. We felt very secure. The hosts, Rachel and Janine, were wonderful in every respect. The views don’t lie! Such a peaceful home with tons of space. After a 15-20 minute walk you are at the beach. Janine & Rachel were wonderful host, very responsive, thoughtful in leaving a few items in the kitchen, ensured we knew how to work everything, and helpful throughout the entire stay. The only thing we could ask for is a few more days. Great place, you won’t be disappointed.

Hidden Gem - The pictures don’t do the view justice. The apartment is incredible and I loved every minute of my stay. I loved it so much I barely went out, as being home sitting on the terrace or the balcony and watching the ocean was better then being at the beach. You absolutely should stay here.

A11 Sunset Hill - The best view you can imagine in Camps Bay. The elevation of this apartment gives it the best view of Camps Bay beach you can ever imagine. It's only surpassed by the attention of Janine &Rachel during our stay. They were superb in keeping us up to date with the latest local and international news o the development of Covid-19 and helped us relax a bit more than we would otherwise have been able to. 31 On Central, Ground Floor Apartment - We had a wonderful stay at the apartment, it fulfilled all our wishes. We stayed for almost three weeks and felt very much at home. We loved to sit in the sun chairs in our little garden, have breakfast on the terrace or enjoy the sunset over the ocean on the sun deck. The area is beautiful and safe and the apartment is just a short walk away from the beach. Janine and Rachel were very helpful and kind hosts, we couldn’t ask for more. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

B4 Ridgemont - This studio is perfectly located on top of a hill in Camps Bay with a killer view overlooking the ocean. We couldn't imagine any better view of Camps Bay than here. Beta Beach Villa - We absolutely LOVED this house. In full lock-down it offered a beautiful, calm oasis "home away from home". Even though we could not swim in the sea, we could not have been closer to it! The lovely well thought through details made it really special, including the Amarula coffee! Switching on the twinkly starry roof lights was the highlight of our evenings! Janine and Rachel are lovely and could not have been any more helpful and were so flexible and super attentive to our every question and query. We could not recommend this place more highly, whether you need a local getaway, or if you are an international visitor.

We had a wonderful stay at 201 Rock Apartments stylish yet cosy beach vacation home. Loved every bit of our week spent here. The place is even nicer than in the pictures and the host goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. If we come back, this will be the place we are staying at. Highly recommend!

Janine and Rachel are great host, gave us a great welcome. The place is elegantly furnished, fresh and super clean. The beds and pillows are of high quality, very comfortable. The linen and towels were crisp. High quality crockery, pots and utensils. Well kitted in terms of basic cooking ingredients (spices, salt, sugar milk etc) needed. Very thoughtfully put together overall. The location is perfect with a balcony with uninterrupted sea views. 10min walk to the beachfront/ woolies/ restaurants main road. Thank you.

Blue Waters - We loved this place. Fantastic with 4 big bedrooms all with own private bathrooms. 4 big very comfortable beds. Fantastic location. We loved we could walk to the beach and take a swim before breakfast each day. (The ocean is very cold, but we loved it). 2 of the bedrooms facing the ocean and you could fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Super nice hosts who gave us a lot of useful info the night we arrived, and we really enjoyed the little things in the refrigerator they had put there for us. We also met the owners, who lives downstairs, which is absolute not a problem. We had the pool to our selves whenever we were there. Walking distance to many great places. Fantastic location when visiting Capetown. We would stay there again anytime. Thank you for the stay, we all really enjoyed it!

1 Oceana - Rachel and Janine were fantastic hosts. They gave a very warm welcome and a thorough intro to both the apartment and the area. It’s a great location as you can easily walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The walk back was a little steep for us with a buggy but Ubers are easy to get and good value. I would definitely recommend the apartment for a comfortable, convenient stay in Camps Bay! Thank you again, Ladies!

Ground Floor Apartment, 31 On Central - Wow this place is incredible! It’s located a short walk from the beach, in a very safe area, with beautiful views of the bay! The interior is beautiful - and there is everything you need, including a great beach mat and towels! The owners communication was excellent start to finish! We even arrived to a lovely bottle of white wine, milk and mineral water! So many nice touches! And the top decking area - a great sun trap and lovely place for an evening drink :) don’t hesitate - book! We loved it all! Thanks so much :)

17 Oceana - If you want to base your stay in the Cape at Camps Bay (which I would recommend) then this apartment is perfectly positioned. It is up the slopes towards the 12 Apostles so magnificent views , but still only a short 5 to 10 minutes to the main area. Equally excellent access to Cape Town. While we had a car a late night uber from cricket ground was less than 15 euros. The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. We were expecting it to be lovely and it was better than expectations. Rachel and Janine were excellent hosts. Thanks.

4 Oceana - It was our first time to South Africa and first time abroad with a 7month year old baby. The accommodation was perfectly located in Camps Bay, providing a relaxing walk into town and a nice "walk off" after lunch/dinner. The hosts were super responsive, providing tips on travel and activities in the area. Also they catered for a baby, providing a high chair, mattress protector and travel cot. Finally, the apartment block was very relaxing, quiet with views of the sea and a pool (slightly chilly) to play with the baby and BBQ in the evening. Furthermore, washing machine, microwave and internet very handy with a baby. We visited other areas like Hout Bay, Bantry Bay and Clifton on our travels, but we thought Camps Bay superior. Highly recommend.

From our initial contact, until we had to say goodbye to Oceana there was nothing to fault. The communication and administration was swift and organised. The accommodation was just as impressive - as the photo’s suggested.
We booked Oceana 14 – thank you to Janine and Rachel for everything.
The apartment exceeded our expectations, was super clean and tidy, with good quality furnishes and equipped with every guest luxury. Even my Woolworths online food delivery was unpacked and placed in the fridge – a lovely touch and attention to detail.
The location of Oceana is superb – far away enough to have peace and quiet but close enough to walk to all the action and restaurants in Camps Bay. The views from the balcony are sublime.
Janine and Rachel gave great recommendations for restaurant’s and of things to do in the area (we even climbed Lions Head). Nothing beats local knowledge – and they are both more than happy to share theirs.
Thank you both so very much for making our trip so memorable and we look forward to returning.

The house is even better than in the pictures. The bedrooms are big and the common space plus the view is incredible. We wished we came with another family because the setup is so good we wanted to share with others and just stay in for sunset and dinner. The location is great - easy to get everywhere but quiet and secluded. Peter the housekeeper is incredibly kind and made our stay very relaxing. He was particularly sweet (and understanding!) with our two little boys. If you have small children you need to be aware of the pool and the railings, but given the layout it’s not hard to keep an eye on them. Hopefully we will be back!

This was my first Airbnb and it couldn't have gone any better - from my initial correspondence/queries with Janine which were answered immediately to the greeting by Rachel upon check-in. Apartment 4 at The Oceana is fabulous and has everything you could ever need, it is spotlessly clean, secure and close to all amenities. There is a very concise folder giving details of nearby tourist attractions, restaurants and contact numbers for Doctors, Dentists, Car Hire etc which is very helpful. I would have no problem whatsoever in recommending this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Camps Bay. Special thanks also go to Rachel for looking after my husbands wallet when we went away for a couple of days - he'd left it behind, probably to ensure I spent some money - Service above and beyond - thanks again Rachel. Overall - perfect. Fantastic hosts - couldn't have wished for better.

B4 Ridgemont has breathtaking views If you manage to book this spot, you’ve hit the jackpot. The Panoramic views are breathtaking. Standing on the balcony from either the living room or the bedroom you see the full beauties of the Cape. The hosts are responsive and extremely professional. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and gadgets. The radio on the HiFi works well, and it plays CD’s too. The telly has all the channels but is the older models, one in the living room another in the bedroom. However, if you need to watch telly rather than sit on the terrace with a glass of wine more fool you. Uber finds the place without issue for rides and food. The short but steep walk to the secure gates is no issue at all unless you have a walking impediment. If you have a car, the parking spot removes this issue. It's particularly romantic and dramatic at sunset. My companion was a gorgeous bottle of the local red, and it kept whispered sweet nothings to me. In short, I would recommend this place without hesitation. I hope to be back.

Janine was simply an amazing host from start to finish. First, she responded almost immediately to our booking. My friends and I booked pretty close to when we wanted to stay, and within the hour she was communicating and arranging details to ensure we had a successful stay. Next due to some strikes with the South African airline, our stay was delayed a day, yet she continued to ensure that our checkin went extremely smooth. Finally this home is INSANELY beautiful, both inside and out. From the decor, to the honor bar, to the incredibly detailed guides to local places, foods and activity, no detail was left unaddressed. Even providing several key chains so that everyone in the group could come and go was amazing. We had a group of seven and this house easily accommodated all of us. Janine made our trip to Cape Town special. We will happily rebook here when we return. Hey Janine ... We have stayed literally all over the world and TRULY felt your place was over the top. Beautiful, easy to get to, incredible service and immaculately clean. THANK YOU for ensuring our visit to Cape Town was a special one.

Hidden Gem is a fantastic place to stay. We spent 4 nights here but could easily have stayed longer. Janine was a great host who was very communicative and had loads of tips for places to eat / what to do etc. The view from the balcony is amazing, especially at sunset. Loads of great places to eat and drink nearby. To get to the main strip on the beach it is a 5 minute uber at most and only costs 27 rand so very easy to do. The flat is very clean and comfy with all you need. Great base to explore the rest of Cape Town / surrounds from as well. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We absolutely LOVED the Beta Beach Villa in Bakoven -- a spectacular experience! The house is well equipped for cooking, comfortable for sleeping, and the STUNNING view is awe-inspiring and addictive; we hardly wanted to leave to go sightseeing! It's also away from the craziness of the Camps Bay strip, yet close enough that we could have easily walked there. (We did order in, too -- Col'cacchio from Mr. Delivery -- which was timely and delicious.) I already knew Bakoven was a perfect place for enjoying Cape Town's spectacular sunsets, but was delighted by the morning light, too. As the sun starts to peek over the Twelve Apostles, it first lights up the water-surrounded boulders before spreading to the sea. This had me singing, "Sunshine... on my boulders... makes me happy" Ahhh, a bit of paradise, which I very highly recommend... We absolutely loved being there and didn't want to leave!!! The proximity to the sea is a HUGE plus! I ended up spending way more time on the couch than I planned, just to soak in the amazing vibes from the ocean and view! You guys did an EXCELLENT job of getting the villa ready for guests! The quirky twinkle lights did seem to have a mind of their own, but added a magical feel that raised our experience to another level. Thanks again!!

Our stay at 17 Oceana was fantastic! Rachel was there to greet us with a smile, show us the space and give some local recommendations. She even gave us a bottle of wine, water, juice and milk, which was a pleasant surprise! The apartment itself was perfect. It’s in a gated community, so we felt perfectly safe. It’s a couple minutes drive to the beach and row of restaurants on the main strip. We used Uber for all trips and it was super convenient and affordable. There was a spacious kitchen and living room area, along with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was great having a bathroom for each bedroom, one of which is en-suite. The space was tastefully decorated and super cozy. One thing to note, only the main living space has air conditioning. This wasn’t a problem for our trip, and the apartment never got hot, but is something I always inquire about when I book places. 😊 Thank you Janine and Rachel! We certainly hope to be back someday! My only regret is we weren’t able to stay longer.

Gorgeous place! 17 Oceana is a beautiful apartment, sparkling clean and has everything you need. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. Janine has thought of everything - lots of tea, coffee, milk and juice for breakfast; beach towels as well! Excellent location - Camp’s Bay is beautiful and we were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. The balcony is the best - we sat out there in the mornings with our tea and coffee and saw dolphins in the ocean. In the evenings, we sat out and saw great sunsets. Would stay here again - highly recommend! It truly felt like a home away from home.

We literally couldn't fault this stay. Apartment 17 Oceana is lovely, furnished to a high spec with Villroy and Boch glass wear, and SMEG appliances and the most incredibly comfortable beds and linens! Every conceivable thing was thought of, we were worried about safety but felt completed secure in this gated complex. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine with the stunning views over Camps Bay and the Ocean beyond. Rachel and Janine were super responsive and helpful with local tips. We would absolutely stay here again! We literally couldn't fault our experience, the apartment is lovely and Rachel was always super responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

29 Oceana is amazing with a privileged view of Camps Bay Beach. During a sunset, we even saw whales from the balcony while having a complimentary wine. What a fantastic Airbnb! Very clean and tidy, really well-equipped kitchen and great little touches to welcome us on our arrival (water, juice, milk, and wine in the fridge!). We felt very safe in the apartment and even though it was on a busy intersection we weren’t disturbed by an outside noise (we stayed over the New Year). The location is excellent and in walking distance from the waterfront, park and along the promenade. Janine was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome and was flexible with check out times. 14 Oceana is a very stylish and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Very secure and well managed. About 15 minutes max walk to restaurants, and a reasonable choice for eating out. The location is great a10-15 minute walk downhill to Camps Bay. We were initially worried about safety but had no problems. Uber back was easy, as long as you have WiFi.

The top floor flat for 31 Central Drive, Camps Bay is a lovely light and spacious place for a couple to spend a retreat. It’s so close to all of the amenities but just far enough back to be peaceful too. It is furnished to a high standard, with a clean and stylish finish. For me, the host Janine, is the real high point. So responsive, considerate and full of ideas/suggestions to make your stay more enjoyable. I’ll certainly look to stay at one of Janine’s managed properties again. Superb.

Oceana 29 - Janine è davvero una super host. Ha risposto velocemente a tutte le mail e da subito è stata molto disponibile. Ci ha concesso check in anticipato per venire incontro ai nostri bisogni. Camps Bay è una bellissima zona residenziale dotata di tutti i servizi e sicura. L'appartamento è all'interno di un residence con parcheggio privato con sorveglianza notturna. Janine fornisce telecomando elettrico quindi non è nemmeno necessario scendere dalla macchina per aprire il cancello. L'appartamento è dotato di ogni comfort, lavastoviglie, lavatrice e asciugatrice. La biancheria da letto e da bagno è curata. Ottima pulizia. Omaggio di benvenuto che comprendeva anche bottiglia di vino della zona. Caffè, thè, zucchero forniti. Suoer vista con terrazzino per ammirare i tramonti. Consigliatissimo.

Apartment 14 was absolutely perfect! Janine was extremely welcoming, flexible with checkin/check out time, super quick to respond to messages/questions and took her time to get us set up in the apartment and welcome us when we arrived. The balcony was the most beautiful place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine! The location is about a 10 min walk to shops and restaurants and the beach. It's a great value and perfect for two couples traveling together. The place was extremely clean and Janine had even provided some food, coffee and wine to get us started for our stay. Sunrise-Sunset and Cape town have surpassed our expectations. The apartment has been amazing both in terms of facilities and location. The sunsets from the balcony leave us speechless and we don't want to leave! Cape Town is a fantastic City and easy to get around. If you are planning a trip to Cape Town I would definitely recommend staying at Oceana. It is situated in an ideal location 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Camp's Bay where you will find amazing restaurants and can also pick up the Cape Town sightseeing bus tour which is great value for money.. The apartment is immaculately clean and has a fully equipped kitchen making it an ideal base for your stay. Janine could not have been more helpful, she met us when we arrived and gave us tips on places to go and how to get around. She was also immediately responsive if we had any questions. I fell ill when in Cape Town and Janine arranged a Doctor's appointment for me and was also very flexible when we had to unexpectedly extend our stay. This house in Camps Bay is incredible. My family and some of my bridal party stayed here before and after my wedding in Lambert's bay. Janine was wonderful, we arrived and had two bottles of complimentary wine with chocolates. When we came back from the wedding, she had a bottle of champagne, strawberries, and chocolate for my husband and I. The house is a two minute walk to the beach, and we walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner almost every day. There were so many options to eat that we didn't venture far. Janine made us a complete priority- constantly letting us know to not hesitate to contact her. The house is beautiful, spacious, and truly a paradise. Camps Bay a great spot with just a short drive or walk down to restaurants and the beach (walk requires a bit of a climb back up hill to the apt). Oceana 13 - Camps Bay Hideaway: As this was my first time on Airbnb I didn't quite know what to expect. We were extremely happy with our stay in Camps bay, the location and view is amazing, there is a very professional manager on site that went above and beyond helping us, especially with some annoying luggage issues where we had to sit and wait for some luggage being brought to us from the airport. After waiting for days, we all left to get some food and of course that is when the luggage was at the gate needing us to let them in. We called Janine that made an extra trip to receive the luggage and put it inside the apartment for us - and I didn't expect her to do that as that is hotel quality service and our fault for leaving. Our one little question about internet access was dealt with immediately. The apartment was new, uber clean and as presented on the photos (if not even better than the photos.) We give 2 enthusiastic thumbs up for this cute place, it's perfect for 2 couples or a family sharing. The kitchen had everything, the location was great, it's a short walk down to 'the action' in Camps bay and an easy drive to Table mountain, shopping at V&A Waterfront or a drive to the wine country. The parking was great too, no noisy or annoying neighbours either. (We stayed over New Year's eve.) If you consider this place you won't be disappointed!

Oceana 14 - Sunrise-Sunset: A lovely apartment with great ocean views. Very well equipped and close to all amenities either by a fit foot or a short taxi ride. Great bars, restaurants and a beautiful beach. We had a great stay and didn't want to leave. A big thank you to Sue for letting us stay and to the host, Janine who met and welcomed us. Very cheerful and willing to help in any way she can. Thank you both for making our stay a memorable one. A great apartment offering home from home essentials. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the walk both ways to the beach and restaurants. Great communication from start to end and the helpful attitude from the host, Janine who welcomed us and gave great tips on the area and where to visit. A great experience and would love to come back! Thank you.
