Lovely spacious property, very clean and well equipped. Pools weren’t the cleanest and the check out time was quite early compared to other air bnbs we stayed in in the area (10am). Other than that the host was great, very responsive and the property suited us well!

Wonderful place. Beautiful ocean views. Fantastic hosts. Jeanine & Rachel provided a folder full of information with restaurants, things to do and all the services you’ll need. Walking distance to restaurants and shop. Only challenge is if the wind is really high during the spring months, might be hard to sleep at night. No fault of the hosts, it’s just Cape Town. Still loved the condo.

The space is a modest sized studio, but well laid out and equipped. It's in a central location in Camps Bay and easy to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants. Janine and Rachel were kind and responsive, messaging us ahead of time to arrange check-in at a time that worked with our flight arrival.

Everything was seamless, from booking, planning, arrival, and departure. Rachel and Janine lovely. Great location, very quiet, felt safe. The home is beautiful, ideal for four of us, with privacy for my adult children and us. Well equipped kitchen and super clean, laundry facilities great. Back up battery seamless. Modern furniture, calming, no clutter, Beautiful large deck, with dining table and pool. The views are spectacular and loved being able to hear the crashing surf. (Weather was cool and windy,) includinf from the bedroom decks. Restaurants in Camps bay excellent, so hard to choose. Quick Uber ride. Thank you Rachel and Janine.

One of The best peaceful / views home we rented so far. Security system was so good , the quiet neighbor hood was all what we needed for a good night sleep. Hello, first of all I would like to thank both Rachel and Janine for their continuous communication starting from booking until arriving and receiving the villa and following up on matters first-hand during the stay and regarding the villa, it was beautiful and clean and in a very beautiful location and a distinctive view of the sea with the availability of all the required supplies and in case I visit the Camps Bay next time I will definitely stay in the same villa and I highly recommend this elegant and beautiful villa to everyone.

A wonderful a beautiful home in a great location with a great view, we unfortunately did not stay the entire Tim we booked but we had a lovely stay while we did. Janine and Rachel were super responsive and proactive, giving us everything we needed. And when we needed to move they quickly helped us arrange this offering us other place to stay

The first thing you notice is the peaceful surroundings. When you get inside the view is breathtaking of Camps Bay and the beach. If that is not enough you have very nice view of Lions Head out the window and from the balcony. On the street behind the house you can look almost straight up it seems to see the visitors center on top of Table Mountain. We got some nice photos of the cable car with the moon rising in the background. Rachel met us there to welcome and tell us some helpful things about the house and area. Janine got up early on the last day to collect the keys and see us on our way. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We live over 8000 miles away so it may not be that we can return soon, but if we could we would have no hesitation staying in this house.

The view!!!! not waking up to it after I left felt wrong. I loved that every room has a private balcony and the common area is spacious enough to accommodate everyone without feeling crowded. The binder that has all of the instructions, tips, amenities, & things to do, proved to be very helpful. It was not a few pages, but a well-thought-out book. We had one small issue with the internet downstairs- the team worked very quickly to try to get it fixed immediately. Their backup system helped us to not be too affected by load shedding. I definitely walked to the main beach area multiple times. There's also a nice little beach pocket a few steps away. The main bedroom setup is pretty awesome. The only thing I'll warn people of is packing- getting luggage up and down the stairs can be tricky with heavy luggage. If you're not made for heavy lifting, check with your airport transfer service to see if they have a driver that you can pay to lift heavy objects upstairs to get you settled in.

Janine was absolutely wonderful!! Beautiful views! Especially loved that every bedroom had a view of the ocean. Falling asleep listening to the waves crashing was heaven. The house was located in a beautiful neighborhood that was in a very central location and easy to get everywhere. We give our vacation 10/10!!

Amazing place! We really loved the jungle vibes and the pool. It can be quite windy which makes it a bit noisy, due to some branches knocking on the room’s roof but apart from that: lovely paradise in Camps Bay!

Janine & Rachel are the best hosts I’ve had in a while, they’re very responsive, kind and helpful. The space itself is situated in a very private area that can’t be seen from the street. You can walk safely to the beach during the day, but we still took Uber home at night. It’s a charming apartment that’s well equipped that feels like a home. The pool is a nice bonus on hot days. It would have been nice to have a generator backup to keep fans running at night, but at least the wifi stays online during load shedding. One other thing that could be improved is the wifi speed which is a small issue if you’re working remotely. Overall, a great stay and would love to stay here again!

Wow, what a great find. The view from the terraces was so nice to enjoy at the end of our long days in Cape Town. Some readers mentioned the street noise, but I am glad I ignored them as the apartment was really quiet and peaceful. We spent a few days in this very cosy accommodation in camps bay. It was very clean, we had everything we needed including a small kitchen area with a fridge. The pool and the outside area was spacious and clean like the rest of the accommodation.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying here for two weeks! This property is in the best location to experience Cape Town for the first time or the 100th time. You are 2min walk from a private picturesque boulder beach, 15 mins from hiking Lions Head, 20 mins from downtown CPT and 20 mins from wine country in Constantia. If that doesn’t make you want to stay here than Janine and Rachel will! Their flexibility, hospitality, and out-write friendliness is second to none. We will definitely be staying here again next time we make the trip to Cape Town. Love everything about the place and location. Book this one now!!

Our stay at 31 Central was absolutely perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful and extremely well located, just a 5 minute walk down the hill to all that Camps Bay has to offer. Jeanine and Rachel were incredible hosts, there to welcome us upon our delayed arrival. The unit itself was perfect for two people, and was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed during our stay, including a great bottle of wine upon arrival. As a keen swimmer, the lap pool was the highlight, closet followed by the terrace at the top of the property which was such a peaceful perch to enjoy a sundowner while taking in the sweeping view of Camps Bay below. Would highly recommend this property to any couple or single traveler looking for oasis right in the middle of Camps Bay

The apartment is in a great location just away from the bustle of camps bay but within easy walking distance of all the bars and restaurants, plus two small beaches . Spectacular setting with a.gorgeous sea view. We loved being able to walk right down to the beach, and it was an easy walk to the Camps Bay village. The private street was peaceful, and made for easy parking and access to all of Cape Town and the point. Rachel was most helpful, and extremely accommodating with our check-in.

Lovely comfortable cottage with a beautiful garden in a quiet location very close to the buzz of Camps Bay. Even has a (recently added) balcony. Very responsive and flexible hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Incredible view of Camps Bay, the ocean & Lion's Head overlooking a unique private vineyard. We were lucky with the weather & were treated to epic sunsets every night.

Rachel contacted us a few days before our stay, which made all our following communication quick and easy. We were met my Rachel who was very friendly and explained everything about the property and the Camps Bay area. The property was in a very plush neighbourhood that was quiet and secure. It had great views of the sea and mountains and was about a 20 minute downhill walk from the bars and restaurants in Camps Bay. We quite often walked back from Camps Bay to burn off a few calories, which was more like 30 minutes as it was uphill. However, if you don't fancy the walk, UBERS are about £2 !! There is also a local restaurant to the property called Hussar's, which serves incredible steaks and as with all food in the Cape Town area, fabulous value - about a third of what you would pay in the UK for a similar meal! Going back to talking about the property, it does what it says on the tin and photos - we look forward to seeing Rachel and Janine again when we next visit Cape Town

Cape Town and Camps Bay are magical. The views, nature, activities, the weather… I could stay forever. The apartment was very nice - just big enough for 3 or 4. A few things were challenging, mostly load shedding meaning 8h without electricity a day and when it comes back alarm beeps for a few minutes making for restless night. Not Janine & Rachel’s fault but some places have back up generators. It was also very windy and the house is not very well isolated which makes sleeping difficult. But again, comes with wanting to be in camps bay. Beautiful place though in beautiful part of the world so I would rent it again!

Location is the strength of this property. Very tastefully decorated and equipped. Short walk to a couple of small, quiet beaches. Also a 15 minute walk to Camps Bay Beach and its restaurants. Short walk to a lovely coffee shop which was useful. Very comfortable bed. Host was brilliant - very responsive, friendly and helpful.

Janine and Rachel were great hosts and very friendly and helpful at all times. Check-in/out was easy and flexible and their communication was outstanding. The apartment is in an excellent location and just a 2min walk to the sea front where all the restaurants and bars are. This was great and super easy. The apartment has everything you need but it can be a bit noisy as you are surrounded by other apartments that are on top and all around you and the noise travels easily through the walls. Personally, I didn’t find any of the furniture or bed comfy but that might just be me. We also had an incident where the bath we ran one day had brown water come out (hopefully an isolated incident). The shower and taps were fine. The hosts were great and I’d recommend them to anyone. The apartment was Ok and the location did it for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment in Camps Bay. The interior is very cute. The apartment is in a very quite street next to the sea. So we could sleep by hearing the waves. We would always come back!

The Villa was outstanding and Rachel did a great job helping us with anything we needed. We were two couples and had plenty of space and enjoyed everything on our stay. Really can highly recommend this place if you like space, privacy and superb view over camps bay.

The welcome was great, we were shown everything necessary & were helped with things along the way with great responsiveness. There was an amazing booklet with lots of recommendations of the area - I stayed in many Airbnb's during my trip to SA last month & this was by far the best hosting I've seen! Thank you to you both!

The property of Janine & Rachel was exactly like what’s in the pictures , very beautiful and breathtaking view from the bedrooms on the beach and mountains. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more , they brought a high chairs for the kids and cots . Well decorated and equipped. With a private car parking garage . We had a wonderful time at Rachel and Janine's house. It is in very good condition with a great view of the beach and sea. Our son loved the pool. Both of them are great hosts, they enabled us to check in earlier and always responded to questions very quickly. We would love to come back.

This property really is a hidden gem! The unit is bright and spacious and very well appointed. The view of the beach and ocean is stunning while you have the beautiful mountains behind you. The location is wonderful. There is beautiful scenery all around you. The area is quiet and peaceful and we loved every minute of our stay here. I would highly recommend this property and we look forward to returning in the future.

The stay overall was excellent as indicated by my rating. Just a couple of observations: 1. It would be helpful if there was an inverter in the apartment to provide power during load-shedding (especially because the cooker is electric). 2. Unfortunately one of the recommended restaurants (Mantra Cafe) was a disappointment - slow service and mediocre food Otherwise, no complaints at all!

Janine and Rachel were fantastic hosts. The villa was spotless and flawless. They went above and beyond with their service. From fresh beautiful flowers in the kitchen to fresh fruit in the fruit to beautiful candles and plants in every bathroom. It felt like a boutique hotel. The interiors were exceptional and the beds were so nicely made with gorgeous cushions. We felt so safe, great alarm system with a security guy on call 24/7 not that we needed him. Janine and Rachel recommended lots of restaurants and things to do in their welcome pack. They were flexible and contactable at anytime, always quick to respond to any questions. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Cape Town / Camps Bay! What a great apartment: the place is exactly as shown the pictures, it is completely equipped, in mint condition and immaculately clean. The apartment is very inviting and has a great layout. The furniture both inside and outside is super comfortable. The place serves well for relaxing days in the apartment by the private pool as well as a base to start your trips to explore Cape Town. Also, the neighbourhood is very safe. Rachel was super accommodating and helpful to us. She introduced us to the area and provided us with valuable tips for activities and restaurants. However, the place is also great for self-catering since the kitchen is completely equipped and there is even a BBQ on the sea-facing terrace. We stayed with 4 people, and there are comfortable beds for 6 and the place would still be roomy. Highlight: relaxing on the terrace by the pool, facing the ocean and knowing Table Mountain directly behind you!
